Coffee Stimulates Alcohol Disorientates

For the past 3 to 4 years or so Masha (my wife) and I have visited an eclectic amount of coffee houses. Coffee has always been a uniting drink that stimulates conversation, where business ventures are discussed where deep meaningful, and memorable ideas are shared. A drink that is very unique to this world. Unlike other drinks such as alcoholic beverages if consumed too much all that is spoken of prior will be forgotten the following day. Drinking to forget while coffee is drunk to revitalize to stimulate the mind. She and I have had some great talks, where we have shared dreams, speaking of our marriage, and what we enjoy about each other. Such fruitfulness has come in these calm settings. Rekindling the fire of love for one another.
I see this so much in regard to my faith in Jesus, which stimulates my soul. The Apostle Paul writes to the Church in Colossae "Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts."  (Colossians 3:16 NLT) What is this message Paul speaks of? I don't think I am too far off that this message is the supremacy of Christ Jesus overall all things (see Colossians 1:15-21), "He is before all things and in him all things hold together." (v.17). This is what Paul is referring too, and through His atonement (Jesus dying in man's place on the cross as the supreme sacrifice for man's sin in his or her place) "and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross." (v.20). The message of the Gospel is life-saving and intellectually stimulating. Giving peace which neither coffee nor wine can ever give to a person. The Christain sits at the coffee house and has conversations in relation to these passages. Learning from one another and growing in godliness. In an appropriate setting also singing 🎼🎻🎸 with one another in praise to God. Speaking of the peace Jesus gives day by day.
The contrast in terms of alcohol, which I understand like coffee wine has a similar uniqueness in flavor depending on many of the similar climate factors that coffee bean faces which determines the taste. Its and intellectually stimulating field. For a beer connoisseur, its a factor of the brewing process the different grains that create the unique taste and also the pow factor that awaits through the alcohol content. These two drinks also create great conversations. Yet in regards to alcohol as with most things if over-indulged will destroy everything. "Wow, Brad that's some strong words" you may say, just look at all the damage it has caused to all society, you won't have to look too far to understand this. Do you want to be a supporter or an enabler of this destruction? On the subject of alcohol King Solomon gives some real-life experience and observances of this intoxicating drink "You will see hallucinations and say crazy things." (Proverbs 23:33 NLT, see 29-35) How true that is as one who is no stranger to such a lifestyle. Coffee stimulates alcohol disorientates.
These are the stark differences between these two highly ingested drinks. I won't be an advocate for the overall health benefits of coffee, for I know Kidney troubles await many who ingest coffee. Yet one can't help but love the gift of keeping mankind regular if you know what I mean πŸ˜‰πŸ’©πŸ’©πŸ’©. A glass of Wine I hear can be good for health in some respect the same with a beer. I want to close with one final verse "Don't be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit." (Ephesians 5:18).
